Air Cadet Aircraft Made with Xara Your day at RAF Wyton usually occurs on a Saturday or a Sunday. Normally in groups of four from Harpenden you will be taken there by a member of staff who will look after you for the day. Flying in the Tutor is a fantastic experience and being fully aerobatic you can see what it is like to fly an air-show routine! A two seat side by side trainer, it is the aircraft in which RAF pilots gain their wings. Your pilot will be an experienced RAF officer, some of whom fly fast jets as their day job. You will be expected to fly the aeroplane yourself to gain experience and put your classwork into practice. There is no cost for this training, and you cannot get the experience outside the ATC.
